H1 | Demonstrates understanding of economic terms, concepts and relationships If a student is absent from or does not submit an Assessment task for a valid reason, the following procedures will apply: The student must contact the teacher of the course on or prior to the morning of the task.In the event of illness, a medical certificate must be presented the next day. If the absence or late submission does not result from illness, other evidence documenting the reasons for absence or late submission must be provided.If a student is absent on the day before a scheduled assessment task without a valid reason, the student may be penalized with a 10% deduction of marks for the task. This will be determined by the Head of Department. |

Task Description |
Description of task: Choose a country other than Australia to research and investigate: – strategies used to promote economic growth and economic development. – the relationship between globalisation and strategies used to promote economic growth and development. -evaluation of the strategies used to promote economic growth and development in this economy Part A WRITTEN TASK: You will submit the research details as a scaffold booklet and this booklet will be marked as per the marking criteria with the extended response. You will also have to write an extended response to the question given below under exam conditions. Question: Analyse the impact that globalisation has had on economic growth and development strategies in an economy other than Australia. Part B ORAL PRESENTATION TASK A 5 minute oral presentation will be undertaken in week 8B. Your presentation will focus on visual presentation of evidence of globalisation on economic growth and development strategies of an economy of your choice. |
