Assessment 2 Infographic and Reflection
Part 1 Infographic and Part 2 Reflection using the Gibbs Cycle
This assessment is worth 35% of your final grade (Infographic 18% + Reflection 17%).

Assessment Instructions
Part 1: Infographic
Create an A3 size infographic (portrait layout).
Submit as a .pdf
TOPIC:
Create your infographic as a poster (A3 paper size) for your clients to introduce your role within a health setting. [Example: Physiotherapist on a rehabilitation ward]. Consider the course you are enrolled in / studying. If you are unsure of your career direction – select a profession you are interested in.
On your infographic:
Indicate which work place you are in [example: A community health clinic or hospital or mine site, etc.].
Your target audience is: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples*
Describe your role at the workplace.
Describe how you can help the client.
Include members in your interprofessional working team [be creative].
Explain the goal of the interprofessional team.
Provide external services that may be available in the community to assist. These are services not already part of your workplace. Who else can help?
*NOTE: If you are studying on a global campus (Dubai, Mauritius, or Miri) please consider marginalised populations within your country (instead of Aboriginal and Torres Straite Islander peoples). Consider what is needed on the infographic to appeal to diverse populations and what could make clients feel welcome and safe in your setting of work. Your work setting can be health or work safety related, etc. Ask your tutor for guidance if needed.
Part 2: Individual Reflection
Assessment Instructions
Word limit: 600 words ± 10%
This reflection must be in your words only, and written in full paragraphs.
Do not have any generative artificial intelligence software running in the background of your computer.
Do not use GenAI of any type to write your personal reflection.
Talk to your tutor if you are unsure what is required in the assessment.
Use the Gibbs cycle words as headings.
Include the word count (adding all sections) after the last paragraph.
Submit the reflection as a Word document (not a .pdf)
TOPIC:
Begin your reflection with a paragraph (prior to Gibbs cycle headings) briefly describing your own cultural background (your upbringing), which can include religious or spiritual aspects if you choose. It should include where you grew up and some background information on who you are as a person.
Then: Use the Gibbs cycle of reflection (including all headings):
Describe a specific situation or experience where you interacted with a person or group of people from different backgrounds or cultures or religious beliefs from yourself.
Note: This can be a recent situation or further back in your life anywhere in the world.
While using the Gibbs cycle, focus the entire reflection on the situation you described in ‘description’.
Note: For the ‘action’ section, provide specific examples of how you will continue working on cultural humility and awareness. You can include how you feel this impacts you individually and also going forward into your career. How can you apply this learning to demonstrate cultural humility and awareness?
Assessment 2, Part 1 and 2 demonstrate Unit Learning Outcomes # 1, 2, and 4.

2 Apply professional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills within an interprofessional learning environment.
