Word limit of the report: 2000 words with +-10% deviation (excluding the appendices)
Assuming that you are the Contract Administrator appointed by the contractor, produce a report addressing the followings:   Task 1: Describe the general principles of contract law governing construction contracts giving examples from construction and relevant case laws. Support the discussion with additional reading/literature (8 Marks)   Task 2: Appraise the basic procurement arrangements including the features, pros, cons and responsibilities and risks of parties. Support the discussion with additional reading/literature (8 Marks)   Task 4: Introduce the main standard forms of construction contract suites/families and key forms under them. Report structure: Please follow a general report structure with a title page, brief introduction, the tasks as detailed above, conclusion, references and any appendices.
Late submissions: A late submission without approval for an extension will be penalised by 10 per cent per calendar day up to 10 days (see Learning Guide). Extensions will only be considered under approved Special Considerations submitted via WesternNow.
