Assignment details
For this assignment, you are required to consider those who work in the following sectors and describe the key responsibilities of a professional communicator in a particular context—including types of audiences, key messages and delivery modes. You will be required to explore these responsibilities in the context of one of the following environments:
A major public hospital.
A large retail department store.
A large international bank.
A large government state high school.
A large music store.
The following points will assist you to complete this assignment:
Plan, write, create and record a five-minute video presentation.
When recording your video, you may use any appropriate device you are comfortable using i.e. webcam, camera or mobile device. You will upload your video to Canvas Studio.
Ensure your presentation is well-researched and supported. You must use Swinburne Harvard style referencing throughout and submit a reference list in addition to your video submission.
Your video presentation must be clear, audible and complete with you appearing on camera for the majority of the presentation.
If you choose to incorporate props into your presentation, they must be appropriate and used effectively. Refrain from creating organisational signage (please refer to copyright information in the Assignment Declaration).

You will need to submit your reference list separately to the Assignment 3: Reference list submission point.
