collaboration, and the evolving scope of practice for
healthcare professionals (e.g., nurse practitioners). At some

After working through the unit content, you should now have
a clear understanding of how well-managed and led planned
changes can influence their success or failure. The purpose of
this assessment is to demonstrate your understanding of the
roles of leadership and management in healthcare by
identifying and analysing a specific change you have actively
participated in, and how it relates to a chosen key topics.
STEP 1: Instructions
- Identify a specific change that you have actively
participated in at your workplace. - Analyse how this change relates to one of the following
topics:

Create an analysis of the implementation of the planned
change, the role you played in the process, and the impact it
had on your workplace. Include in your discussion a critical
analysis of the strategies used, the challenges faced, and the
outcome of the change process.
