Assessment 2 (presentation and short report)
Present a Business Case of the safety program that you developed in Assessment 1. The Business Case should detail the following:
- Reasons for the safety program (including legal obligations);
- Alternative strategies that were considered to achieve legal compliance and reasons for your choice of action;
- Overview of the safety program;
- Cost‐benefit analysis;
- Recommendations.
To complete the assessment, you need to present the business case in 2 (two) formats:
- A memo – summarising your business case in 500 words or less;
- A presentation – maximum 10 minutes.

Short report (60% ‐ maximum 500 words)
