What am I required to do in this assignment?
Task There are TWO parts to this assessment.   Part 1: You are to produce an individual creative and well-researched Poster which will explore a selected critical issue in-depth. The critical issue you select must be different to that of your first assessment. The Poster should focus on how your selected critical issue is having an impact on society and how the Tourism or Hospitality sector is helping to mitigate against the impacts of your selected issue.   Guidance Select one critical issue which is different from assessment 1Explain the issue clearlyWhy is it a critical issue? What impact is it having on society? On who/what?Can you give any evidence to support the fact that you are focusing on a critical issue?Who are the stakeholders involved?Using a key example / case (e.g. destination, business),explain the interrelationship between the issue and the tourism or hospitality industry and explain what steps are being taken to address the issue and who is taking these stepsevaluate the effectiveness of these steps  – how well are the issues you have identified being mitigated?
Assess how well the industry (Tourism or Hospitality) is responding as a wholeProvide recommendations to address the issue more effectivelyYou will be given separate advice on how to design your Poster in PowerPoint (this is the recommended format).   Part 2: Annotated Literature Review: You are then to select SIX of your most important sources and state why they were important and what contribution they allowed you to make in your Poster. We will discuss in class what this annotated Literature Review might look like (especially during week 8); typically, it can be presented in a tabular format.
