Instructions to StudentsStudents are required to select and implement one of the cybersecurity projects from the provided list or propose their own project with prior approval. Each group must submit a project report and present their project in class using slides. All work must be submitted on LMS by the due date with a completed Assignment Cover Page.
Format/StructureReport: MS Word format, 1.5 spacing, 11pt Calibri (Body) font, and 2 cm margins on all sides, with appropriate section headings.
Presentation: PowerPoint (PPT) or PDF format.
Code: Submit as a ZIP file or upload to a shared repository (link included in the submission).
Word/Page LimitReport: 3000 words (excluding references).
Presentation: Maximum of 10 slides.
Referencing StyleAll sources must be cited in the text of the report and listed in a reference list using the IEEE referencing style.
Submission Guidelines– Submit all deliverables (report, presentation slides, and code) via LMS before the due date.
– Include a completed Assignment Cover Page.

Late Submission PolicyAn assessment item submitted after the due date, without an approved extension or mitigating circumstances, will incur a penalty. The standard penalty is a 10% deduction of the total mark per day late. Submissions made more than ten days after the due date will receive zero marks.

Assessment: Cybersecurity Project Implementation and Report

Assessment Overview

  • Objective: To allow students to apply cybersecurity concepts by choosing and implementing a project from a provided list or their own idea (with approval).
