Positive psychology intervention includes mindful awareness of the intervention intention based on which the outcomes are expected. Depending on the intervention requirements processes and mechanisms are developed through which the intervention outcomes are achieved. The skills of mindfulness support the method to be implemented successfully. These programs are designed in a way that may appropriately respond to the issues identified. The outcomes are planned to be achieved through short, medium and long term outcomes that provides visions to achieve the desired outcome of the interventions (Raymond, 2018a). It includes activating experiences where coaching, validity and curiosity lead to better engagement, challenge taking, motivating and stimulating the growth outcomes. It embeds an intentional practice through which awareness raising methodology is developed in order to achieve higher order intervention outcomes.

In these cases assessment processes are required to be developed in a way that helps formulating an intervention vision. The outcomes can be broken down into some medium term outcomes. These may include increased positive states of affection, increased involvement of the individual into personally rewarding and meaningful relationships which helps in reducing the depressive symptoms. The methods included in these processes may be reflective conversations, explicit teaching and psycho educations, diffusion of cognition, application of commitment therapy and acceptance and others.

However, there are some challenges faced by the individuals in completing a self-administered positive psychology intervention. It is du top the fact that personal biases and thinking pattern may affect the process of taking up new intervention method which may create confusion and may slower the process of intervention. This might lead to delayed response to the intervention process. On the other hand, comprehensibility of the self-administered intervention may lack due lack of guidance in the area. Therefore, intervention is required to be embedded with understanding of the processes and intention of taking up the intervention process.

The evaluation can be conducted through analyzing different categories through which an individual proceeds towards the desired outcomes of the intervention process. One of the major categories through which it can be can be evaluated is awareness. Every individual holds their personal knowledge, belief and creates their own world of perception. This modifies their thinking pattern and directs their actions through which the desired outcomes are tried to be achieved. Skills are other criteria that are evaluated through analyzing the new coping responses that the individual demonstrates, their actions and behaviors towards the challenges they face in their day to day lives (Raymond et al., 2018). These skills help in self –regulation which is highly important for achieving the desired mental health outcomes. Thinking process people hold about themselves are also changes during the intervention process which can be evaluated through examining the mindsets of the individuals.
