Task Summary
Create a 10 minute PPT video presentation. The presentation should review protocol stacks of a chosen case scenario about the upcoming industry trends in blockchain or cloud computing and provide recommendations.
Context
This assessment gives you the opportunity to use your existing knowledge of communication protocols to assess potential trends in data and networking, specifically in blockchain or cloud computing, and collaboratively work to produce recommendations for the chosen case scenario.
Task Instructions
Part A – Industry trend
- Choose an industry trend with the main source coming from a recent report of a top Australian consulting company (KPMG, Deloitte, PwC and EY). Please make sure that the chosen industry trend on data and networking is specifically in blockchain or cloud computing.
- The chosen topic needs to be approved by the facilitator at the end of Module 3.1 (Week 5).
- Please remember that the topic needs to contain communication protocol information for you to proceed to the next step.
Part B- Video
- Create a 10 minute video presentation using PPT to answer the following questions:
- Analyse the trends in the communication protocols and relate the concepts with what you have learnt in data and networking so far.
- Are there protocol stacks that are more emphasized compared to other protocol stacks for this industry trend?
- If this industry trend is to be adopted by an Australian company, what would be your recommendations for the Australian company, so that they could take advantage of this industry trend? The recommendations should be well supported and clearly justified.
Referencing
- Place the references in the last slide of the PPT presentation using the APA 6th edition style.
- Additional references that can be accessed using the Torrens Library search engine may be used to supplement the required reference from the consulting company.
- It is essential that you use appropriate APA style for citing and referencing research. Please see more information on referencing here http://library.laureate.net.au/research_skills/referencing
Submission Instructions
Submit a PPT Video presentation via the Assessment 2 section found in the main navigation menu of the subject Blackboard site. The Learning Facilitator will provide feedback via the Grade Centre in the LMS portal. Feedback can be viewed in My Grades.
