The product that I decided to work on is called “VISIONNAIRE NUIT BEAUTY SLEEP PERFECTOR FACE MOISTURIZER” its’s from the Lancôme skincare line. My idea is to create something very similar just changing a few ingredients used. Also, the goal is to start creating conscience in the company about doing cruelty free products because there are many ways to test the products without using animals in the process. Moreover, since the already created product cannot be eliminated so suddenly, the name has to be a little different plus ingredient. I made a survey through my Instagram where I ask the girls what they are thoughts in the current face moisturizer. I had a lot of ideas and good feedbacks. I also had a meeting with someone who works in Shiseido company Jennifer Jasbi, where I asked her about her opinion about the importance of skincare and what make a good moisturizer.
I did a survey on Instagram asking a few questions such as:
Do you use Face Mask Moisturizer on your daily routine?
48% of the people say they do use it. Which is a vey low percent.
- What is you thought of the visionnaire nuit beauty sleep perfector face moisturizer from Lancôme?
The price is too high for a small package.
- Do you care if the product is cruelty free or not?
-I didn’t really mind before but now everything is changing and is sad to know what they are doing with animals.
– Yes, I do care because I know when products are cruelty free the product has better results in your skin.
- Would you invest on a face moisturizer if the price wasn’t the blockage?
- Absolutely. Ill love to try it.
- It depends on if the ingredients are something that will flatter my skin.
Moreover, I talked to someone that works in Shiseido. Jennifer said that skincare is very important for her. There is no day that she goes without using them. For her is very important that the skincare that she used is fragrance free because the condition of the skin. She suffers from rosacea which means that she has a lot of redness in her face. Her recommendation for the new product is to be parabens free plus fragrance free because that will help with the skin condition.
In conclusion the new product will be created for every type of skin, ingredients that will help everyone to get a flawless skin. We will work on doing this product cruelty free so that no animal suffers from this. Moreover, the name of the new product will be Overnight Flaw Face Mask. It will be very affordable for everyone.
