Assessment Task 1 Part A: Individual Reading Grid (10 marks) and Marking Criteria (marked out of 100)
Read the Atlassian case study in chapter 2 (Samson et al. 2021) and then answer the following 2 questions. Please ensure that you first complete the individual reading grid by week 4 and then share your reading grid with the team after submitting it for marking (ensure that the grids are shared with members after all members have submitted their reading grids for marking).
- Use Exhibit 1.5 Relationship of conceptual, human and technical skills to management in chapter 1 (Samson et al. 2021) and analyse how a manager who is leading a team of 10 staff, who are working remotely, would use relevant skills to maximise the successful team collaboration and achieve innovative solutions for their customers?
- Use the Humanistic Perspective to assess how Atlassian leaders manage and motivate their employees to achieve organisational goals.

- The purpose of the reading grid is to analyse how members have individually analysed the questions and developed answers. In management, as long as you can logically develop an argument, there can be many paths to answering the same question
- The focus is on justifying the answer as the best option and highlighting the scope of the answer and the limitations (bounded rationality) of your argument.
- The reading grid should only have short bullet point answers (less than 7 words in each bullet point). This should be prepared individually
- Please DO NOT copy from your team member reading grids
- Please submit part A to relevant link on Moodle in Word format only
