Title – A Study on the Impact of Generation Z across HR Functions & Productivity

- Introduction – Every generation has seen a process either being implemented or made redundant as the years go by. In this project, we will go through the a journey of generations and their work cultures with our main focus on Generation Z and how their work performance and culture has impacted productivity across an organizations especially across various HR functions like recruitment, learning & development, etc.
- Objective – To identify the various kinds of impact Generation Z has had across the different HR Functions in an organization. To have a better understanding of how Gen Z have made a difference to the current working process from what was followed by prior generations. How are the older generations looking at Gen Z and their work culture?
- Problem Statement – It was the year 1997 that Generation Z originated across the globe. The purpose of this study is to outline the various influences and impact that Gen Z has across HR Functions including work productivity. As India has not undertaken any conclusive studies with regards to this subject, the project will aim at underlying a detailed understanding of Gen Z and their work performance. How exactly has Gen Z made an impact? How have they automated processes and digitalized otherwise tedious processes that needed to use a lot of paperwork.
- Methodology & References – A thorough detailed and descriptive research will be organized on not just the quantity of resources but the quality as well. Primary data will be collected and analyzed with the help of survey that will be sent across via email to a target audience of the Gen Z population. Secondary sources of data will be HR related reports, industry-based reports as well as scholar articles related to the subject matter. Upon receipt of the necessary data, graphs and charts will be prepared to further describe said findings.
