This study investigates the effects of natural building methods on health. The study looks into eco- friendly building techniques to comprehend how they affect residents physiologically and psychologically. The research aims to provide important insights for better-built environments by examining elements including thermal comfort, connection to nature, and air quality.
A mixed-methods approach will be used in this study to evaluate the relationship between natural building thoroughly practises and well-being. Comprehensive case studies of environmentally
friendly buildings, a theoretical review of the body of work on environmental psychology, and interviews with architects and tenants are all part of it. To provide detailed insights into the advantages of natural building practices, quantitative data on thermal comfort, air quality, and occupant well-being will be collected.
This study is critical to my design studio and the field of architecture as a whole. In essence, I am investigating the potential for improved human well-being in built environments through sustainable construction practices and natural materials. It’s similar to realising how our architectural designs may enhance the happiness and health of those who occupy them.
