Assume you are a data analyst for a local bank. In the past, the bank has not focused its marketing / sales efforts in a careful way and, as a result, there have been limited results. So the bank is turning to you, its newly hired data analyst. They have provided you with a list of customers and your job is to analyze the data in this list to see if you can learn anything about bank balances and the other variables in the file.
Your job is to do the following.
1. Complete a BADIR report using the provided template to describe the business question, your analysis plan (be sure to include a hypothesis in your plan), the data you will need (this has been provided already). and the insights and recommendations that you can find or make from your analysis of the data.
2. Analyze the data to see what relationships you can find among the variables and what you can learn from the data file about the balances of your customers and how that is related to the other variables.
3. Produce a 2-5 page report that has MS Excel charts and graphics that you can present to the President of the bank. It should contain the information in your BADIR report and the graphics from your MS Excel workbook. Use APA formatting.
So, that is three things that you must turn in: BADIR Report, MS Excel workbook that shows your analysis, and a formal and clean report that summarizes both things.
