Instructions to StudentGeneral Instructions: This assessment requires you to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to implement and review your work plan and schedules in accordance with organisational requirements.  You must complete all parts of this assessment. Managing self-priorities. Part 1: Implement work plan and schedule, to identify and report variations Part 2: Seek and document feedback on performance Part 3: Analyse and evaluate feedback and variances to update plan   Assessment Conditions: Skills in this unit must be demonstrated in a workplace or simulated environment where the conditions are typical of those in a working environment in this industry.   This includes access to:   Time Allowed:   This task is to be submitted by the due dates advised in the Unit Study Guide.  If a student requires an extension, then they must negotiate this with their assessor prior to the due date.   Level of Assistance Permitted (If Any): This is an open book assessment task. All work must be your own. Students may: Students must seek any required assistance, reasonable adjustment or negotiate extensions with Assessor prior to due date.   Location: This assessment is to be completed in a workplace or a simulated workplace including the classroom or home office environment. This task includes activities which require you to demonstrate practical and communication skills which need to be observed by your Assessor. These skills and activities can be demonstrated and observed in any one of three ways: (NB! Options available at the assessor’s discretion.) If recording please confirm your identify as the student being assessed with name and student number, plus record consent from all participants at the beginning of the task.  You may use this comment, ‘I am (insert student name and number). This activity is for the purpose of assessment only and will be recorded, viewed and stored following TAFE Queensland procedures. PART 1 Implement and Review Work Plan and Schedule

Implement the plan and work schedule as developed in Assessment Task 2.

Use business technology to keep a running record of activities, documenting progress and noting any changes required on the plan and schedule. Throughout the implementation document and review the following:

You will submit this documented review in your final portfolio of work for this assessment task.

PART 2 Feedback on Work Performance

Your work plan developed in Assessment Task 2 was to contain monitoring and review strategies, including a check-in with your manager. Organise to meet with your manager to discuss and seek further feedback on your performance.

Meet with your manager under the observation of your Assessor, either in person, online or via recording; refer to Instructions to Student for more information. This may be your workplace manager, or a colleague, classmate, or friend that can role-play the role effectively and provide you relevant feedback.

During this meeting seek your manager’s feedback and recommendations through discussing your review of your project planning and progress, including variations between planned and actual as identified in the review of the work plan and schedule, and your self-evaluation.

Document your supervisor’s feedback and recommendations on your plan.

PART 3 Analyse and Update Plans

Collate the information and feedback collected to analyse and evaluate your work performance. Analyse the variances to identify required changes to the planning, schedule and work performance.

Modify and update work plan and schedule to reflect feedback and changes in circumstances.

Write a simple report to document your planned improvements.
