This major project is an opportunity for you to experience project life cycle while honing your employability skills. This project requires you to work in a team of three or four. This is a two part assignment. Part 1: The Purpose Statement
In your group, please develop the Purpose Statement for your chosen topic (see page 3). Use the Purpose Statement Template to complete this portion of the assignment.

Part II: The Semi-Formal Report
- Create a semi-formal report using collected research information:
• Use a minimum of 5 documents
• Use academic research (found through Seneca Library and/or other credible research sources). Wikipedia, blogs, and other no academic sources of information will not be accepted. A deduction of marks will be the result of using such sources. - Your report should include the following sections of a Semi-formal Report:
• Introduction: presentation of background, purpose statement
• Discussion: presentation and Key Findings
• Conclusion
• Recommendation(s)
• Reference List - Include graphics. Integrate three illustrations (infographics and other graphics, developed or found through research) into your report. Please ensure all illustrations are labeled correctly, have descriptive captions, and are cited.
- Use your own words. Content that is copied and pasted without the appropriate documentation of sources is considered plagiarized and is not acceptable. All submissions will be checked using SafeAssign to check for authenticity. (see page 4)
- Acknowledge your sources.
• All external research: direct quotes, summaries, and paraphrases must be correctly cited in APA. Please remember, no more than 10% of your paper can be a direct quote.

Option 3: Ensuring Diversity in the Workforce
For the first time, your company has hired a new employee with a disability. However, your company has no official policy on accommodating employees with disabilities. Your team has been asked to create a report that recommendations on how to work with employees with disabilities. In order to complete this report, your team must
• Investigate the government programs available to assist employers and employees,
• Investigate the Human Right laws applicable to the workplace,
• Determine the advantages and disadvantages of hiring employees with a disability
• Develop general guidelines to help the company accommodate this new employee and future employees with disabilities: visual, physical, mental, etc.,
