Option 1: Impact of CSR
In recent years, many companies have adopted corporate socially responsible (CSR) policies. Your boss has heard that companies with CSR policies do better on the stock market and are attractive millennials and Generation Z. You’ve been asked to investigate the potential impact of adopting a CSR policy in your company by

• defining and researching the history of CSR,
• assessing its potential impact on a company’s stock price,
• assessing its potential impact on internal (corporate culture) and external stakeholders (e.g. the surrounding community).

Make recommendations to your boss outlining the positive and negative consequences of adopting a CSR policy.

Your business is considering offering three new policies: child-care assistance, elder-care benefits, and a flexible work schedule option to its employees in order to address complaints about work-life balance. A work-life balance is considered an essential requirement for millennials and Generation Z employees. Your company wants to ensure it will implement the policies necessary to attract the best and brightest employees. You need to understand
• how having or not having a work-life balance affects both employees and companies
• the financial pros and cons of each proposed policy to both employers and employees.
• what other companies are doing to address this issue, so it remains competitive
Offer recommendations on what type of policy would assist your company help its employees achieve a work-life balance.

Option 3: Ensuring Diversity in the Workforce
For the first time, your company has hired a new employee with a disability. However, your company has no official policy on accommodating employees with disabilities. Your team has been asked to create a report that recommendations on how to work with employees with disabilities. In order to complete this report, your team must

• Investigate the government programs available to assist employers and employees,
• Investigate the Human Right laws applicable to the workplace,
• Determine the advantages and disadvantages of hiring employees with a disability
• Develop general guidelines to help the company accommodate this new employee and future employees with disabilities: visual, physical, mental, etc.,

Statement of Authorship
In addition to submitting you assignment to SafeAssign, this statement must accompany your submissions. The statement can be pasted onto the cover page of your report. Each person in your group MUST sign the statement. The assignment will not be marked if this statement is not found. Late marks will be applied as the assignment is not complete without the inclusion of this statement.
