What ideas or advice did you gain from this event on how to get started in the industry?	In this event, speaker Noor emphasizes on use of applied cryptography for data protection. The event provides an idea that password-based authentication has several cybersecurity risks. He provides advice how common implementation issues around FIDO can be resolved to get ready for cybersecurity and password less world. His advice for cyber security and applied cryptography for data protection can help to get start in industry for improved data security in operations.
What do you feel was the key ‘Takeaway’ point of the speaker’s presentation?	The speaker Arshad Noor highlighted the concern with password-based authentication in cyber environment. It is a takeaway point that password less mechanisms can help to ensure better data protection while using in combination with biometric and other techniques.
What new ideas did you gain that added to your understanding of the ACS and its role within the ICT industry?	1. Applied cryptography can be used for data protection and for that FIDO alliance are significant to consider. 2. Password less world can enforce data security to a higher degree considering biometric and other techniques as alternatives.
How was the event topic relevant to your internship or future work?	The event topic is relevant to future work, especially in IT sector. The topic provides significant information about various authentication frameworks in cybersecurity and emphasizes on applied cryptography for data protection. It can help to establish a robust security framework for applications and systems.
