Case Study # 2 (10%) – Due April 13th, 9 AM Eastern Standard Time.
Purpose of assignment
To allow an individual student to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and abilities related to the following course learning outcomes:
- Course Outcome # 2: Analyze corporations and international organizations and their impact on doing business in the hospitality industry globally.
- Course Outcomes # 7: Assess the impact of globalization and internationalization on individual behaviour, team processes, and organizational process in a hospitality organization.
Assignment Instructions
- Each individual student (not a collaborative exercise) will read the case provided (Case Study # 2 – Case to Read) and follow the instructions to complete the Case Study Report. The purpose of the Case Study Report is to demonstrate a student’s knowledge, skills and abilities about the course materials and course outcomes.
- In a Microsoft Word document, students need to write a Case Study Report with the MANDATORY following sections and headings in the report:
- Title Page (separate page)
- Abstract (separate page)
- Case Analysis (main heading)
- Problem or Decision
- Analysis of Problem or Decision from Multiple Perspectives
- Discussion of Solutions or Decisions that would Solve the Problem
- Recommendations
- References
- Visuals in Support of Analysis (optional) (separate page)
Additional Notes to help you be successful in this assignment
- Make sure to complete all sections of the Case Study Report Template in a Microsoft Word document.
- Make sure to use all of the mandatory headings in your Report.
- Review the The Case Analysis document to give you great tips on the expectations and structure of your Case Study Report.
- Students should integrate course terms, concepts, theories, tools and credible resources introduced in the course to demonstrate their understanding and learning from the course materials.
- Students should make sure to only research sources that are “CARS approved”.
- Use full sentences and paragraphs.
- No bullet points are allowed.
- Make sure to follow APA@Conestoga guidelines for all citations and references.
- Visuals or data sources used from sources also need to be cited and referenced.
